Lucy Hollins
Coordinator of the Graduate School @ University of North Florida
About
I’m a proud alumna of the University of North Florida, where I earned my Master’s in English with a concentration in Rhetoric and Composition in 2024. My academic journey began at UNF, where I majored in English and minored in Digital Humanities. During that time, I completed an internship with the Jacksonville Public Library, working with the Florida Times-Union archives, and graduated with distinction. Currently, I serve as the Graduate School Coordinator at UNF, supporting graduate students and faculty in collaboration with my department. I also teach undergraduate English courses, including IDS 1932: Reading and Writing in the Digital Age, which allows me to stay connected to the classroom and mentor students directly. Before joining the Graduate School, I worked as the Special Projects Coordinator for UNF’s Digital Humanities Institute, leading collaborative initiatives with faculty and students in the College of Arts and Sciences to elevate the role of the humanities in higher education. I’m passionate about student success, academic equity, and the transformative power of education. My dual roles in administration and instruction reflect my commitment to fostering meaningful learning experiences and supporting graduate education. UNF is more than my workplace; it’s my academic home.
