* Coordinated and executed On Board Diagnostics DEMO for Diesel engine and Gas engine programs * Utilized multiple software programs to flash calibrations, acquire emissions data, and analyze emissions data with vehicles * Worked with engine calibrators and subject matter specialists across programs to meet emissions requirements for CARB and EPA

* Tested vehicles in multiple weather conditions in the wind tunnel for the thermal development and validation groups. * Operated heat exchanger component testing device (AMCA Chamber): Radiators, condensers, fans, charge air coolers, aero shutters, etc. * Conducted strain gauge testing, on site and at Mahle, to evaluate fluid leakage and other radiator issues with vehicle programs via use of INCA. * Lead Shutter Deflection DFSS Project: Tested shutters on vehicle programs to find most timely and cost-effective method.

* Benchmark tested competitive and General Motors vehicles with AVL Drive software. * Organized group’s dashboard files from AVL 3.8-4.0 for better navigation. * Created a template to generate AVL Drive reports directly from the software to improve data logging efficiency. * Coached DFSS Project to determine reasons for variation of tip-ins in vehicles.

* Performed calibration and diagnostic testing with the aftertreatment/emissions system on vehicle * Tested the soot model for the DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) and DOC (Diesel Oxidation Catalyst) via the use of INCA, CST Toolkit, MDA, and .csv files. * Participated in drop and weighs in garage and on ride trips to monitor behavior of DPF and DOC. * Worked to ensure that emissions requirements set by the EPA were met via calibration tools and software.

As a senator for the undergraduate chapter at The University of Texas at San Antonio, I have a few main responsibilities. The first is to be the voice of our organization within the college of engineering on campus. I do this by keeping the other engineering organizations updated with events/tutoring/concerns that the chapter has going on. Secondly, I coordinate with organizations to take time out of their schedules to speak to the chapter about the industry and what to expect upon graduation. Lastly, I work with student organizations on campus to host educational events that will better the campus community.

I have prepared myself for my professional engineering career by taking a multitude of classes that have strengthened my knowledge of Mechanical Engineering, but also obtain a basis for Electrical, Civil, and Structural Engineering. The courses I have completed include fluid mechanics, manufacturing engineering, dynamic systems and controls, machine element design, differential equations, linear algebra, calculus, thermodynamics, materials science engineering, mechanics of solids, statics, dynamics, circuits, and engineering physics. I am currently enrolled in heat transfer, measurements and instrumentation, and oil and gas engineering geomechanics.
