About
Through my experience growing up an athlete, I've had the pleasure to work with the most dedicated coaches who taught me what it takes to win, the benefits and payoffs from working hard and being disciplined, and the need to work together with a team to share responsibilities and roles in the pursuit of a common goal. This type of mind set has carried me through three university degrees, two professional designations, and a successful career building teams, and winning large infrastructure projects. I'm grateful that school and education always came easy to me - I found it very rewarding that my level of effort directly influenced the outcome and results I achieved. Now with over 27 years, the last 10 years at executive-level, I have a proven track record of success in leading major projects, and a reputation for being a results-driven leader passionate about driving growth and excellence in the industry. Communicating clear strategies, I have spearheaded the development of numerous landmark projects, including the Pape Tunnel and Underground Stations, the Site C Generating Station and Spillway, and the Centerm Expansion Project, for the companies and teams I represted. I attribute my abilities to my background in engineering, business, and project management, which are the perfect trifecta of skills needed to appreciate all the complexities involved with developing infrastructure and leading a business. As a result I have been able to learn very quickly and applying these skills have been able to level-up the teams I have worked with. My expertise spans strategic planning, business development, and operational excellence, ensuring tenders and projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with the highest standards. However, my leadership extends beyond managing infrastructure developments — I am deeply committed to fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. I have built and led diverse, high-performing teams, driving performance and implementing new operating systems to position the business for future growth. I thrive on building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, from clients and partners to internal teams and industry leaders. My proven track record to connect and collaborate has been instrumental in maintaining relationships, winning business at good margins and driving sustainable growth for the organizations I've been privileged to lead.
