Provided direction and leadership for areas including, clinical compliance and accreditation, hospital interim services, and clinical operations performance improvement included clinical operations management system, ED psychiatric patient management system, and Productivity Management System. Compass Clinical Consulting helps hospitals improve patient safety and eliminate obstacles to providing safe, quality patient care.

Provided leadership and operations of UCMC to ensure high-quality patient care, strategic planning for growth. Growth in outer ring admissions improved by 7.6% and length of stay held flat. Hired new CFO and Government Relations executives. UCMC (formerly University Hospital) is a 726-licensed bed (564 staffed) tertiary care hospital affiliated with the University of Cincinnati, consistently recognized in U.S. News & World Report, with annual admissions/observations over 36,501, $873M net patient service revenue, 5,200 employees, and three bargaining unions. UCMC is now part of UC Health, comprised of UCMC, West Chester Community Hospital, Daniel Drake Post-Acute Care Hospital, UC Physicians (848 employed providers), and Lindner Center of Hope Psychiatric Hospital (joint venture), in Cincinnati metropolitan area. UC Health s net operating revenue is $1.4B+.

Provided direction and leadership for University Hospital, including extensive affiliation and partnership with the University of Cincinnati and the Dean of the College of Medicine to develop joint strategic plans, Centers of Excellence, funds flow, purchased services, business plans, and recruitment of physician leaders. Served as President of University Hospital Foundation, raised over $6M annually. Also served as Executive Director, UCP/HA Ambulatory Surgery Hospital; and Associate Dean, College of Medicine. University Hospital is a 675-licensed bed tertiary care hospital affiliated with the University of Cincinnati, with annual admissions over 25,000, $500M (approx.) net patient service revenue, 5,000 employees, and three unions. University Hospital was the largest hospital in The Health Alliance of Greater Cincinnati, comprised of six hospitals and primary care physician practices in the Cincinnati metropolitan area. Responsible for the management and professional development of 24 senior managers, and major service lines, including transplant and trauma services, neurosciences, cardiovascular services, psychiatry, and cancer center. Managed $92M operating budget and 1,300 FTE associates.
