- Responsible for coordinating procurement and planning efforts throughout designated internal and external manufacturing areas. - Responsible for near and intermediate term planning and purchasing based on demand, capacity/capability and lead time and buffer requirements. - Purchased of raw materials, components and services from local/regional/global suppliers, to meet production and customer requirements. - Verified availability of proper tooling/designs and management of stock and planning strategies for finished goods/raw materials within SAP/Oracle.

• Review sales forecast and generate material called-off schedule to suppliers (via MRP system) on a weekly basis ensuring the supply of materials meets the highly dynamic demand order. • Closely monitoring the stock inventories of 4 different manufacturing plants (> 500 items) based on their production schedules.   • Actively liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operation (Key KPI: To avoid line stoppage). • Actively perform tasks for cost-saving purposes (achieved group target of around MYR 200k/year). • Lead the stock count activity which involves performing the root-cause analysis for variances and generate stock report for auditing purposes (Quarterly basis). • Experience in handling situations such as material supply shortages, slow moving inventories, obsolete material, and sourcing issues.

• Negotiating with suppliers to constantly strive for best purchase price while maintain the highest level of quality, reliability and service. • Responsible for reviewing and monitoring the stock inventory at an acceptable stock level. • Responsible for tracking purchasing process in order to ensure supplier deliver the raw material and packaging material on time, correct quantity and correct item as per requested. • Maintained strong relationships both internally and externally to ensure smooth operation • Monitored the shelf life of material in order to prevent unwanted loss. • Reviewed and evaluated the performance of the supplier based on the delivery, cost, quality and responsiveness and keep the Approved Vendor List updated.

• Work at several different departments such as QC, logistics, engineering, and production department which allow me to have a good understanding about the entire flow of the company business. • Predicting tool life and optimizing the cutting parameter in order to provide less problem tool breakage and increase the production output. • Handle the task of Work Instruction of tool presetting and tool loading. • Give training to new tool presetters staff member on how to use Tool Preset Machine to measure the runout and diameter of the tool before loading into CNC machine. • Responsible for managing the inventory stock of tool and saving the tooling cost. • Responsible for tracking tool purchasing process in order to ensure supplier deliver the tool on time, correct quantity and correct item as per requested.

• Analyzed work flow, plan and prepare production schedule based on the customer requirement, material availability, manpower and machine capacity. • Monitored work order to ensure timely delivery to customers of finished good. • Liaise with internal departments (warehouse, production, QC, purchasing) as necessary to ensure the plan requirements are understood, all the delivery dates are managed on time and rapid communicate of any production issues that may adversely affect the agreed lead time for delivery
