About
A creative neuroscientist who takes an integrative approach to understand how genes regulate behavior through brain circuit development and how neuropsychiatric diseases alter normal brain circuitry. Using molecular biology and in utero electroporation to modify genes critical for normal brain development in vivo, I am able to elucidate their functional significance in shaping neuro-circuit. This approach paired with cell morphometry, electrophysiology, and behavior readouts enables me to fully understand how genes shape behavior.
