I’m Laura, founder of Underlash, an Australian DIY lash brand created to make beautiful lashes accessible, affordable, and achievable for everyday women, not just beauty experts. After a decade working as a lash artist, I saw first-hand how many women struggled with allergies, time constraints, or the high cost of traditional lash extensions. In 2023, I launched Underlash with one mission: to create a lash system that anyone could use at home, safely, confidently, and in minutes. What started as a small side project has now grown into a thriving ecommerce brand with thousands of loyal customers, award-winning products, and a community that continues to grow every day. Our hero range includes the Quickies, our DIY lash extension kits, and accessories that bring the salon experience home. I primarily sell online, but my work spans product development, customer experience, creative direction, manufacturing, and shaping the long-term vision for the brand. I am passionate about creating high quality products, empowering women to feel confident, and supporting other founders who are navigating the world of ecommerce. A major focus for the year ahead is wholesale. This is a side of the business that has not been touched yet and with our strong repeat customer rate and the nature of lash extensions, it is a huge opportunity. Customers want to see and touch these products in person which makes in-store retail a natural next step for Underlash.
