Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) Monitoring and Technical Assistance Consultant for the California High Speed Rail Project: - Participate in Grant Monitoring report writing, document control and review, and analysis and research of high and low-level studies of technical environmental planning documents. - Coordinate efficient EIR/EIS reviews between California High Speed Rail Authority with NEPA subject matter experts and FRA legal team. - Conduct construction site visits to monitor for environmental mitigation compliance. FRA Southwest Portfolio - Project Coordinator and Environmental Review: Maintain double tracking, siding extension, station improvement, Positive Train Control, and grade separation related projects throughout California. Town of Windsor Quiet Zone Before and After Study: Gauged perception and collected data to document and quantify the broad range of benefits the Town may exhibit from the Quiet Zone. Compiled a Before and After Report of the conditions of safety performance, operations, community perceptions, land use, real estate and economic development, and vehicle emissions at grade crossings. City of Pittsburg Multimodal Transfer Facility: completed CEQA documentation for the planned kiss-and-ride project in the city of Pittsburg, CA. Alviso Dock Feasibility Study for Santa Clara County Department of Parks and Recreation: Served as an environmental planner to evaluate the economical, environmental, and physical feasibility of replacing a boat dock.

Fully researched, designed and implemented a ten-week experiment to reduce disease-carrying insects around homes in the tropics. Project aimed to find and configure LED spectral output of a lamp with the intention of having the least amount of insect attraction. After completing an extensive literature review, the team collected and statistically analyzed our findings. Our final technical report was published with Philosophical Transactions B in March 2015.
