I managed a project to build the first phase of the AMS3 datacenter in the Schiphol area. My project included site selection, acquisition, initial floorplan design, high level design for power, cooling and security systems. I selected suppliers and contractors and delivered the first live customer rooms on time, on budget and with full connectivity to several fibre networks. Following this construction project, I was assigned to the project to arrange connectivity for all Interxion newly build data centres in Europe, by implementing standardized fibre entry points and telco rooms. This included projects in the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Italy, Austria, UK, Germany and France. In addition, I coordinated and executed site surveys in several countries, to select new buildings for Interxion data centres with an optimal connectivity

Responsible for managing the business unit PBX (6 FTE), responsible for sales of Ascom's ISDN PBX's for the SME market in The Netherlands.

Started up a new company, funded by my former employer and my biggest customer at that time. Selling Least Cost Routing solutions throughout Europe to non-incumbant telco's in newly deregulated markets.
