Leading and managing all aspects of the plant's operations including production, quality control, safety, maintenance, HR, etc., overseeing a large workforce of 2500+ and directly reporting to the Turkey Director regarding all matters, Managing die, press, BIW, paint, assembly, and suspension shops (1500+ robots), leading engineers from different departments to resolve quality problems and initiating actions, Ensuring the overall success of the plant by enhancing productivity, reducing costs, investigating root causes (FMEA, 6 Sigma), and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning, Analyzing KPIs, budget variances, and P&L status, generating regular reports and performance metrics to present stakeholders and conducting technical research and benchmark studies when requires, Promoting and enforcing safe working practices, conducting regular safety audits, implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks, and implementing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge within the plant.

Responsible for Doblo (Fiat, Opel Combo, Vauxhall, RAM) & MCV (FCA, PSA), overseeing the manufacturing operations of the BIW department, leading ‘arc & spot welding’, ‘sealing’, ‘assembly’ and ‘hamming’ processes (657 robots) and a large team of 1300+ (white/blue-collars) along the way, Acting as the Tofas Plant AM pillar leader (WCM), attending a comprehensive training in Japan, studying the background and characteristics of Toyota Production System and Japanese lean thinking, and creating the link to WCM tools and methods, Preparing the annual budget and allocating resources to optimize production efficiency and meet production targets, implementing quality control measures to ensure that BIW components meet specifications, Encouraging everyone to contribute to process improvements, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure a high-performing and motivated workforce, Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies within the BIW department and presenting regular production reports and performance metrics related to output, efficiency, quality, and labor utilization. ***Secured a valuable %9,2 cost saving rate (2,4 million €) for production, quality, and logistics operations, and increased the production efficiency by 10,5%. Also, played a significant role in the plant reaching a high WCM Audit score and Gold Plant status as well as an outstanding employee engagement level (82%) according to the AON Hewitt survey.

Accountable for leading the planning, and execution of the Fiat Chrysler plant establishment from scratch, hiring personnel, handling the procurement and installation of equipment, and infrastructure setup, and initiating production, Actively leading the critical Greenfield Project for the BIW Welding department and demonstrating expertise as the AM/PM Pillar Leader (WCM), Developing a comprehensive operational strategy aligned with the objectives, defining and monitoring KPIs, production targets, and quality standards, and implement policies to achieve operational excellence, Overseeing all plant departments, ‘arc & spot welding’ (105 robots) processes, and a large team of 300+ (white/blue-collars) to achieve production targets and implementing training programs to enhance skills, Driving continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for cost reduction, following up on cost reduction projects, and updating senior management on financial performance. ***Built a successful Brazilian team of 28 (only 1 expat) and secured a significant %13 saving (14 million €) in total project cost with efficient process improvement actions.

Overseeing the production operations related to suspension systems and leading three main processes along the way: ‘arc & spot welding’(55 robots), ‘machining’ (49 CNC machines), and ‘assembly’ (6 lines), Managing a large team of 250+ (white/blue-collars) to achieve production targets, providing guidance and performance feedback, and communicating production updates, challenges, and opportunities to senior management, Evaluating and improving production processes to enhance efficiency, increase productivity and solve problems and leading the machining, arc & sport welding, assembly and tightening development activities, Providing valuable training sessions regarding World Class Manufacturing Approach (AM, PM, WO, CD, PD, S) and Lean Manufacturing to domestic and overseas plants, Supporting the feasibility studies as a member of the team performing standardization actions.

Ensuring the efficient operation of the design process (CAD & CATIA) and machining area to meet the production goals and the technical requirements of clients and leading a blue-collar team of 3 along the way, Leading implementations regarding a wide range of manufacturing-related activities such as layout, equipment selection, and installation, process characterization, process monitoring/control methods, material handling, tool selection, equipment service/maintenance, etc., Continuously evaluating machining processes, workflows, and efficiency, implementing process enhancements, and monitoring their effectiveness.

Programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines used for laser cutting and punching processes, leading a blue-collar team of 5 in daily activities and ensuring the information flow between sales and other departments, Organizing all operational work in the sales department, maintaining strong supplier relations, monitoring the purchase orders and delivery processes, and keeping close track of production process and product quality.
