About
I am a lawyer and policy professional currently engaged as a Fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. I have previously worked at India's antitrust regulator, the Competition Commission of India. I am interested in contributing to the discourse surrounding issues like semiconductor supply chains, privatization of space in India, e-commerce, defense innovation, and export controls, among others. I was previously a member of Rajah & Tann LLP's India Desk and also worked in their technology, media and technology practice, where I assisted some of the world's largest companies navigate complicated regulatory issues. I worked on issues ranging from privacy to online gaming, and also assisted in the preparation of a policy paper on liberalisation of the Indian legal sector. I have written on various issues such the payment systems market in India, privacy and data protection, antitrust issues in the e-commerce sector in India as well as the Competition Commission of India's approach to pre-merger consummation activities. While at the CCI, I had also prepared submissions to bodies/institutions such as TRAI, UNCTAD and OECD. I was also a member of the CCI's Internal Coordination Committee for Think Tank on Digital Markets. I bring an ability to bridge technical nuance, academic curiosity, as well as experience working on cutting-edge legal and public policy issues while at Rajah & Tann LLP and the CCI.
