I am responsible for designing full ranges for two new brands, Hoxton Haus and N1SQ, available on ASOS and Topman. I design across all product areas including: sportswear, jersey, knitwear, wovens, jackets and recently expanding to swimwear and lingerie. I am a driven, creative individual with a great passion for design. My role enables me to be actively involved in many aspects of the business. My responsibilities includes: Designing mulit product Creating directional prints / graphics Creating specs Being actively involved in fit sessions Trend research by doing comp shops / inspiration trips / WGSN / catwalk analysis Fabric souring / sourcing new suppliers including overseas trips such as Canton Fair Attending trade shows Factory visits Merchandising / working to critical paths Maintaining a good working relationship with suppliers and customers Working on costings / deliveries Working on photoshoots IT Skills: Excellent CAD ability (Illustrator / Photoshop) Microsoft Office Day to day I take a hands on approach, working well under pressure and working closely with my colleagues. I look forward to furthering my career within the fashion industry.

I am responsible for designing and developing commercial, trend driven ranges to meet client briefs. Working with ASOS, Boohoo, Nasty Gal, M&M, Miss Selfridge, Pretty Little Thing and more. My ranges include: Activewear, Swimwear, Beachwear, Loungwear, Underwear & Accessories. Having been the designer since launching these new product areas for Whispering Smith I have helped build these up into being successful, lucrative ranges. My role not only requires a high level of design ability but also the ability to work closely with factories and customers. From sourcing fabrics, negotiating prices, working on margins and ensuring deliveries are on time and running smoothly. I oversee these ranges from CAD to being online and in stores. I have extensive knowledge of fabrics, construction and manufacturing, having previously worked as a pattern cutter and machinist which helps me understand the whole garment process from design to manufacturer. From this experience I also have the ability to work on specs and the quality control of garments. I am pro-active, creative and have advanced skills on Illustrator and Photoshop as well as the mathematics skills to fully understand prices and margins. I am a well trusted employee with many responsibilities. I handle the pressures well of working to tight deadlines, following critical paths and making day to day important decisions.

Whispering Smith is an importer of fashion goods, supplying and designing for major high street and online retailers. I worked mainly on knitwear as well as working with the graphics team on other product areas. I worked closely with the QC team, creating initial specs and being actively involved in fit sessions. Customers include: ASOS, French Connection, Boohoo, Blue Inc, M&M Direct.

Roissy et Gu is a Chester based bridal boutique. The owner Sheryl Gu is a gifted, self taught designer. Here I practised the art of couture, working on beautiful, bespoke wedding dresses, from pattern cutting to sewing and also working on the shop floor.

Michalis is a talented designer based in Limisol, Cyprus; he produces fabulous collections as well as made to order dresses. We worked together on his Spring/Summer 2012 Flash Collection. We experimented with clever pattern cutting as well as working moulage to produce beautiful bespoke dresses.
