About
They say when you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life. Leading Latitude Food Allergy Care never feels like work! I’m grateful to be part of an incredible team on a mission to deliver life-changing care for families affected by food allergies and to set new standards for patient experience and workplace culture in healthcare. My journey in food allergy care began over twenty years ago when my eldest daughter had four nearly fatal reactions. Refusing to accept “there’s nothing we can do,” I partnered with Dr. Kari Nadeau to launch a breakthrough clinical trial at Stanford that cured her food allergies. Driven to make this treatment accessible to all, I helped build Stanford’s food allergy center and later founded Latitude to bring these innovative solutions to families everywhere. Today, Latitude is the largest network of food allergy clinics in the country (and the world!), helping patients experience true freedom — freedom to eat out, to travel, and to live life without fear. Our team is passionate about putting families first and creating a unique workplace where healthcare professionals can truly thrive, where they feel inspired, supported, valued, and love to come to work… something that can be hard to find in healthcare. We’re just getting started!

Special Advisor
Sean N. Parker Center for Allergy & Asthma Research at Stanford University
In 2009, I approached Dr. Kari Nadeau seeking a cure for my own daughter’s severe multiple food allergies. Together, we tirelessly dove into answering this question for my daughter and countless others. Kari focused on the science and research while I worked to build deep community support and raise the resources necessary to transform the spark of an idea for a clinical trial into an endowed research center. Today, our Center stands as the first center of its kind, aiming not only to find better treatments for children and adults with allergies and asthma, but to discover underlying immune mechanisms against the diseases and develop a lasting cure. My role bridged the Center's clinical, research, and development efforts. Major efforts were focused on building and growing a local and national community of Center supporters through the local Community Council, National Advisory Board, Teen Board, cultivation events, partnerships with organizations such as FARE and E•A•T, and individual stewardship. Through my deep relationships with Center families, I provided support as they participated in clinical trials. I served as an extension of the Center's clinical team, staying abreast of the latest allergy research at Stanford and worldwide.
