Responsible for all physical and virtual server environments, as well as all network devices and connections, including maintenance, upgrades and migrations. Architect and implement new AWS environment for PCI Compliance and savings of $20,000 a year. Plan and implement migration of multiple web applications into Amazon AWS. Plan and implement ISP migration, saving $6,000 a year. Managed IT growth from 40 to 120 people in a manufacturing company, responsible for budgeting and two helpdesk technicians. Worked closely with upper management to insure upgrades were completed as needed. Implemented multiple IT related policies regarding acceptable use, security, backup, and disaster recovery. Designed and installed all IT services for the Company’s new building on budget and on time. Managed the building move with zero downtime to the production floor. Partnered with the Security Officer to maintain the most current US Department of Defense computing practices. Implemented Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.10, including core finance, manufacturing, and reporting modules – a $400,000 project – completed on time and on budget. Provided custom reporting, 3rd party software integration, trouble shooting and support issues. Wrote custom VB ASP .NET software to streamline workflow between component engineering, electrical engineering and our in-house CAD software.
