Ken Robinson

My primary roles for this group are to help with communications set up in control booth, handle the interface of the truck feeds via the control booth patch bay and to run sound in the bowl. So far, all gigs have been at Camping World Stadium.

I am the primary A1 contractor that gets the call for all extensive audio needs between their three venues. These include their black box theater, the Bourne Chapel and the Harriet Coleman Center for the Arts. Musicals. plays, concerts and ancillary needs are given to me over the course of their school year.

When working in the Advanced Show Production class, specializations included teaching Digico, Digidesign and Yamaha consoles. Other systems and skills taught were Lake systems, System Architect, proper system gain structure and advanced soldering skills. When working in the Audio Measurement Systems class, specialized in the use and application for the systems: EASE, SMAART 7, SIM 2 & 3, and TEF. My current job is Course Director for Project & Portfolio II. The curriculum focuses on corporate audio, video and lighting techniques taught to a high number of students.

I am the lead technician for this group. They have been voted as "best wedding/corporate band in Central Florida" for years until the pandemic slowed their business. We still do high profile events throughout the state (and beyond). Responsibilities can include driving equipment, load in/out, building the audio system and running the show.

I was brought in to help their church start live streaming during the pandemic originally. This quickly turned into me completely restucturing their sound system for its most efficient performance. In order to do this, I provided staff training and intern training as well. One of the pastors mentioned that the sound was so bad before I got there that people were coming in and leaving. Now they are making plans to expand their campus.

Acted as a freelance engineer for various events that the church needed outside of typical services across their campus.

Touring FOH engineer and all other related duties.

Worked at various venues throughout the Cincinnati area as a Audio Engineer and Technician. Also worked for various bands over the course of this time such as: Liquid Nation, SHAG, FreekBass, Halias and GUEST.
