Manager of operations for CMA-CGM & Ocean Alliance vessels, my responsibilities encompass a wide range of tasks including managing day-to-day operations of the United States East Coast (USEC) ports New York, New Jersey, Norfolk, Savannah, Charleston, Miami & Brunswick, aiming to ensure efficient operations, minimize costs & maintaining the highest standards of safety & performance to provide excellent customer service for the respected clients. Key functions: 1. Directing & coordinating marine operations for container ships & recently acquired RORO vessels (PCTC) & preparing Coastal Schedules. 2. Collaborating with terminals, stevedores, Longshoreman (ILWU), planners & agents to coordinate union labors, cranes, tugs, pilots, keeping in mind the draft, air draft, stability, tidal windows limitations. 3. Facilitating vessel inspections (CBP, USCG, Class Surveys, Cargo Surveys), bunkering, attending vendors & crew-related matters. 4. Timely communication with masters/captains to optimize fuel consumption / reduce Carbon emission by determining Best & Most Eco Speed ETA. 5. Validating & approving operation-related invoices. Striving to minimize costs by avoiding detentions, labor standby time & overtime. 6. Ensuring vessel productivity & detention are closely monitored during operations & holding terminals & stevedores accountable for performance, post-operation recaps to ensure all costs are properly covered. 7. Providing cost/freight estimations for specialized projects like break bulk, yachts, hazardous cargo (DG), Reefer & OOG. 8. Attending vessels in port to oversee smooth operations & perform Port Captain duties when required. 9. Utilizing, & regularly updating maritime & supply chain-related software such as MACS3, BAPLIE, LARA, PRS, I-CUT OFF, & ship tracking software. 10. Attending routine/Teams' meetings with other managers, HO, terminals, stevedores, & stake holders to address latest challenges & to find solutions.

Functions: Determine the nature, cause and extent of damage, inspect cargo damaged in transit, review and analyze the transportation documents and determine the exact time of damage, prepare comprehensive reports to underwriters and other parties involved using own professional judgment to determine the cause of loss and the salvage value, if any. Oversee loading/unloading of the cargo to/from ships or other means of transportation and document the events

Functions: Administrating a safe navigation, commercial and technical operations of the vessel, conducting surveys and audits, vetting and inspections , SIRE, safe loading, stowage and discharging of the cargoes, prevent and minimize damages during transportation, managing maritime operations, supervising safety, security and pollution prevention measures are being taken, direct or coordinated supervising more than 25 crew members and union labors, arrange bunkering and logistic supplies are provided to the vessel in timely manners, organizing the repair and maintenance of the vessel, following international conventions and codes rules such as SOLAS, MARPOL, MLC, COLREG, LOADLINE, ISM, ISPS, ISGOT, OCIMF, IMDG, LSA, FFA and etc are implemented

Functions: 2nd in command, management level, performing a safe navigation, planning a safe loading, stowage, care and discharging of the cargoes, planning the container loading using loadicators and computer software, calculating the shipʼs stability, GM,BM,SF, TM, draft and displacements, inspecting the cargo and cargo holds/tanks, supervising safety, security and pollution prevention measures are being taken, direct or coordinated supervising more than 25 crew members and union labors, planning the repair and maintenance of the vessel and her gears /cranes, following international conventions and codes rules such as SOLAS, MARPOL, MLC, COLREG, ISM, ISPS, IMDG, LSA, FFA, etc are implemented
