Kaveh Matinkhoo

Biotech chemistry leader with experience building and scaling drug discovery functions in oncology and adjacent therapeutic areas, from hit identification through clinical candidate selection. I’ve led interdisciplinary chemistry and radiochemistry teams, advanced multiple programs into the clinic, and partnered closely with biology, CMC, and external collaborators to drive impact. My background includes medicinal chemistry, peptides and small molecules, radiochemistry, and IP strategy, supported by a strong publication record. I am a co-inventor on multiple U.S. and international patents and have authored publications in top-tier journals, including cover articles in Journal of the American Chemical Society and Chemistry – A European Journal. My work integrates chemistry with translational science and precision medicine to help patients with rare and hard-to-treat diseases.
