As Principal Correspondent, I am the company's primary liaison with Hilton, Marriott, InterContinental Hotels (Holiday Inn), Carlson (Radisson), Starwood (Sheraton), and Wyndham (Ramada Inns) for franchise licensing, operations and compliance issues for 78 hotels across the United States. Various principal correspondent and paralegal projects for the company include coordinating legal mandates with functions of speciality departments such as Human Resources, Capital Expenditures, Sales and Marketing, etc. Until his retirement, I served as Mr. Hammons' executive assistant, and prior to that was Legal Transaction Specialist, coordinating financing transactions, real estate disposition and acquisition transactions, sale of hotels being eliminated from the portfolio, development of new hotels and other legal matters under the General Counsel. Specialties: Former and current specialties include legal and formal communication issues with respect to a public company, shareholders, board of directors, various entrepreneurial enterprises for Mr. Hammons personally, franchise/licensing issues, due diligence & documentation relating to financing, mergers, acquisitions, bond issues, and all real estate transactions.
