Karie Nero

Karie Nero is Principal and Chief Financial Officer at LRC Properties and Co-Founder of Helm Property Management & Services, LLC. Karie is a senior financial and commercial real estate executive with more than 25 years of experience of providing fiscal, strategic and operational leadership. She leads LRC and Helm and oversees acquisitions, asset management, property management, development and finance. She has extensive experience in financial analysis, business planning, establishing policies and procedures, financial reporting, financial/accounting due diligence, cash management, and audit. Prior to joining LRC, Karie held various finance positions at GE Capital, HBO, Primedia (a Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co (KKR) company) and Price Waterhouse, LP. During this timeframe, Karie successfully contributed to the acquisitions of several companies ranging from $6M-$200M, managed and led finance teams, streamlined financial reporting processes, solicited and coordinated numerous revenue generating consulting projects. Karie is a graduate of The School of Business at the University of Connecticut and has a BA in Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive status)
