• Provided technical accounting advice and implementation procedures for adoption of upcoming accounting policies to clients such as major financial institutions and multi-national corporate entities • Assessment on the impact of adoption of IFRS 9 – Financial Instruments, which included determination of business model for several financial institutions’ relevant business unit, as well as gap analysis in their current processes • Reviewed contractual terms of financial instruments, in both English and Mandarin, and evaluated the impact of all relevant clauses on the accounting classification in accordance with IFRS 9 requirements • Secondment to the Assurance line to assist in financial audit and assurance engagements across various industries such as manufacturing and petrochemicals, including listed entities and multinational corporations.

• Contributed in the IT Assurance engagement phases: planning, fieldwork, and reporting the findings of the audit to key stakeholders such as client’s management personnel and statutory audit teams • Identified potential areas of improvements and proposed possible solutions to mitigate the issue • Developed marketing materials to raise internal and external awareness on the field of Data Analytics

• Assisted in audit fieldwork such as financial statement tie outs, stock-counts, and performing reconciliation • Created and archived EY working papers containing audit evidence gathered during fieldwork • Worked with both the clients and the engagement team to ensure effective two-way communication of information used during the engagement phase
