 Collecting data on nutrition baseline survey to the children of under five years of age and their caregivers based on anthropometry measurements (height, and weight ), Mid Upper Arm Circumferences (MUAC) for women of reproductive age (15- 49 years), infant and young child feeding practices, house dietary intake, immunization and other maternal health and nutrition issues in all districts of Mbeya, Iringa and Njombe regions using Digital Data Gathering (DDG) device  Collecting data on crop / livestock baseline survey by interviewing farmers on issues concerning with household assets and wealth assessment, food groups grown, livestock husbandry information, agricultural production issues, extension services on agricultural and livestock production, information on agricultural products markets and water and energy availability using Digital Data Gathering (DDG) device in six districts of Mbeya, Mbarali, Njombe, Makete, Iringa and Mufindi.
