- Designed conceptual models and sketches for a digital fuel gauge monitors to be retrofitted onto a ship's existing fuel gauge.

- Worked under Professor Shimada to develop course materials for a new "DIY Design and Fabrication" course for graduate students. - Generated problem sets to familiarize students with various prototyping methods. - Aided students during the semester in developing their projects and instructing them in the use of various prototyping tools. - The course has been well reviewed and has gained popularity among students. Worked under Computing Services providing user support and resolving troubleshooting issues with equipment and various software programs. Provided knowledge on various multimedia tools and equipment available to students and faculty.

Tested and maintained teaching equipment used in classrooms such as lecterns, projectors and connections to external media devices.

- Managed task breakdown and distribution to a small team of engineering interns for the next generation prototype of a system to raise beds to the ceiling. - Responsible for redesigning the counter-balance and cable system to reduce overall weight and loads to the support structure. - Communicated product design requirements to manufacturers and suppliers.

- Tasked with bringing an idea from it's initial concept and developing it into a finished product. - Generated a Competitive Market Analysis of the product and created design iterations and prototypes of the product. - Designed a full CAD assembly of the product and a working prototype of the system. - Presented the project to a panel of clients and potential investors and received positive responses. - Participated in client meetings and assisted with ongoing projects at the company.
