About

Hey! Guten Tag and chào bạn. I'm Jess. My career's been at the intersection of tech and government, advocating for social impact tech globally and improving user experience across industries. I'm especially interested in breaking down bureaucracies and simplifying processes and operations to make large organizations, healthcare systems, and civil services run efficiently. I also closely follow geopolitical developments and U.S. foreign policy to analyze the impacts to businesses and societies. I thrive working in cross-functional and global, multicultural teams. I've collaborated with people of all levels and corners across civil society, from activists to business owners to software engineers, and senior government officials to c-suite business executives. As a current big tech insider and former U.S. Diplomat, my experience has been international, covering countries in Europe, Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and North America. Always looking for opportunities that allow me to speak in German and Vietnamese (+to relearn Spanish and pick up French)! Ultimately, I seek to work with and learn most from humans with strong moral compasses, solid values, and high standards when stakes are high and consequences on communities great.
