Research cannot happen without the people behind it, so I'm also keen to highlight the ups and downs of being a scientist, and the various issues and challenges that they face. Having worked in the charity sector, the scientific publishing world, and the biotech industry, I've gained experiences in science writing, content creation for digital communication channels, and organisation of events such as research conferences and career training workshops.
