July 2014- Chrysler Belvidere shutdown Programmed new weld paths for MK 49 and MK 74 door lines using ABB robots. Welding robots implemented servo guns that flipped 180 degrees from previous process. Taught new weld paths and verified current MH paths August 2014- Ford Dearborn T&D shop. Helped train two experienced Ford employees on basic Fanuc programming using 7th axis induction heat treating robot. September 2014-May 2015 GM Detroit-Hamtramck (D-HAM) Shutdown for D2 (Chevy Volt) model and E2 (Buick Lacrosse).Fanuc robots. Programmed new paths for servo gun spot welders, ped welders, carried sealer applications, ped sealer applications, flow drill screws (FDS guns) applications, rivet gun applications, material handling part transfer in all areas of the plant. Taught new paths using new equipment for the existing production models GMX 351(Chevy Malibu), GMX 352(Chevy Impala), and D1(Chevy Volt). Verified interference zones, part quality and cycle time with all models and cells. Also provided robot production support. May 2015-April 2017 Contracted to work for Fanuc PSG group (Powertrain systems group) Started with integrating cell in build shop for 12 weeks then Installation on site for 8 weeks. 10 speed transmission case deflash cell for GM powertrain in Bedford Indiana. 2 robot cell. 1st robot picks transmission case out of rack using vision offsets, frame offsets and tool offsets. Very efficient with Fanuc iRVision. Cell utilizes many vision tools. Uses vision offsets to pick out of rack and to deflash (machine) metal out of the holes on the output end of the transmission case. The metal is leftover from the casting coming of the die in the plant. Drops finished part off on handoff stand. 2nd robot picks part of handoff stand and loads into 1 of 3 robodrill CNC machines. Also unloads finished machine parts and loads onto conveyor. Toyota Transmission- Integration and start up of multiple 7th axis rail robot cells. Machine tending.
