Two-time combat veteran with overseas tours as a military prosecutor in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. My reserve assignments have included billets with U.S. Army Special Operations Command and the U.S. Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command at Fort Bragg, NC, and with the Army Office of General Counsel at the Pentagon.

As a partner with Cadwalader's White Collar Defense and Investigations Group, my practice focused on cybersecurity and data privacy, data breach response, complex white collar litigation and investigations, and crisis management.

As a Staff Member to the Commission, I assisted in its Congressionally-mandated mission to assess the FBI's performance as the nation's primary counterterrorism agency a decade after the findings of the original 9/11 Commission.

As a federal prosecutor with the National Security Division's Counterterrorism Section, I investigated and prosecuted terrorist groups and individuals on charges of terrorist financing, international money laundering, and violations of the Bank Secrecy Act and other federal criminal laws. I was also appointed a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the Eastern District of Virginia, and prosecuted various cases in district court and argued successfully before the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals. I received the Anti-Defamation League's "SHIELD" award for prosecution of the "DC Metro Bomber" case in 2010.
