As the Head of the Customer Service Unit, my duties encompassed overseeing all the activities in the customer service unit such as opening and closing of all customer accounts, Maintenance of customer accounts, Handling of treasury deals such as Booking and Termination of fixed deposit, attending to all customer complaints, Issuance of withdrawal instruments to customers, requisition of withdrawal instruments for customers from the Head office and the evaluation and updating of customer accounts

I interned in the facilities engineering department where I worked with various engineers in the treating plant and tank farm operations.  As part of a team of engineers, I provided crucial support to the onshore crude processing operations such as, Updating surveillance templates for the monitoring of daily offshore production, Preparation of tank readiness for draining and loading of crude oil, observing the level of crude oil in the storage or settling tanks during periods of activity.  I also ensured the technical integrity of the plant was maintained through the inspection of tank sites for leakages, Observation of flushing and retrieval of Pig, Recording of readings of the storage tank levels manually using line dipping and level meters and the observation of clean-up activities carried out on spills that have been contained by the bond walls.

I spent a year working in the Corrosion unit where I worked with corrosion engineers in the inspection and monitoring of fluid transport pipelines for defects such as cracks, leakages or pits.  I also assisted in the supervision of various projects carried out by third party contractors and the review of the design and quotation for existing projects.  Other assigned administrative tasks included the preparation of progress reports and clerical duties such as recording and dispatching of incoming and outgoing memos
