My role as Council Member is to advise and to provide expert knowledge to clients worldwide in my fields of expertise: investments, economics, macroeconomic and economic policy analysis.

Senior advisor in investment, trade and economic policy, aimed to increase economic co-operation between Spain and Korea and triangulation Europe-Asia-Latin America. Responsible of reseach and direct advisor to the Ambassador. Main interest areas: Renewable Energy, new spanish macroeconomic and industrial policy, financial reform, global competitiveness, global alliances. Advisory services to Korean firms looking to invest in Spain. Establishment of the Korea-Spain Chamber of Commerce. Analysis and comments to multilateral reports on the Spanish Economy (OECD).

As member of the GFRP, I took part in the ex-ante evaluation of WB financing proposals under this facility for the western Africa region.

Both FAD (2008-2010) and FIEM (2011) are Spanish International Funds aimed to support exports and international investments by Spanish Firms. I take part in the evaluation and approval of all the operations applied by the Spanish firms to these funds, including Loans and Grants under the OECD consensus and Export Credit Guidelines.

ACSUR is one of the biggest Spanish NGO, devoted to international development. It is a specialized entity in project management and finance of housing, public reform, agriculture and other key sectors. I started my work establishing the Mediterranean department with a portfolio of 300,000 euros, in 2001. In 2004, ACSUR managed more than 4 million euros in the region, including european and spanish funds. Once I became General Director, between 2004 and 2008, ACSUR multiplied by 4 times the anual budget, created six new offices in the MENA region and Latin America, and achieved the highest management standards granted by the European Community Humanitarian Office (ECHO). At the day of my departure, ACSUR had a team of 80 people with 10 different nationalities, in four continents.

I was appointed to act as general rapporteur in the North-South Center Summer University, supervising and analysing the development of the University, including the North-South Training Course by the Council of Europe, or the first Asia-Europe training seminar by the ASEF (Asia-Europe Foundation.)

The Spanish Youth Council was a consultative body of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs related to Youth Policies. The International Relations Commitee was the internal body aimed to represent internationally the Council, towards the European Union institutions, United Nations and other international and multilateral actors. As technical Coordinator, my role was aimed to plan and manage the general international strategy, as well as to develop public affairs campaigns, international projects, training and publications. Fully exposed to international youth movement, I took part in the organisation of large global youth events (World Youth Festival, Lisbon 1998), international intercultural activities and european seminars and structures (I was member of the launching commitee of the Euromediterranean Youth Forum).
