Head of Technical Department – Key Responsibilities and Expertise Project Management • Lead complete coordination of repair and maintenance projects on medium-speed engines from Wärtsilä, MaK, Deutz MWM, Ruston Diesel, Mitsubishi, and others. • Manage technical offers, project planning with shipowners and shipyards, procurement, workshop repair supervision, on-site coordination, commissioning, and project closure with invoicing. Turbocharger Expertise • Extensive hands-on experience with ABB and NAPIER turbochargers, including troubleshooting, failure analysis, rotor dynamic balancing, overhauls, and field service. • Specialized in ABB models: VTR..0, VTR..1, VTR..4, VTR..4P, RR, among others. Service Team Leadership • Recruit, assign, and supervise technical personnel for field and workshop projects. • Control attendance, travel allowances, expenses, and allocation of resources. • Ensure accurate reporting of service activities, monitoring of guarantees, and preparation of final documentation for invoicing. • Optimize material requests, spare part availability, and delivery times to secure efficient and timely interventions. Engine Components & OEM Knowledge • Deep knowledge of OEM parts and engine components. Project Execution & Commissioning • Conduct feasibility studies and execute main and auxiliary engine replacement projects, both onboard vessels and in workshops. • Supervise and perform machinery commissioning, ensuring compliance with technical and performance standards. Diagnostics & Technical Documentation • Skilled in analyzing cylinder peak pressure and open indicator diagrams to optimize engine performance. • Prepare comprehensive technical reports covering maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of complex failures. International Client Relations • Strong experience managing international clients, shipowners, shipyards, and OEM suppliers. • Fluent professional English for technical, commercial, and strategic communication.

Technical Department – Key Responsibilities and Expertise Mitsubishi Marine Engines Integration: • Part of the Mitsubishi dealer in Spain, responsible for integrating Mitsubishi marine engines into generator sets and propulsion systems (main engines for vessels and repowering projects). Project Oversight: • Managed the full cycle from engine procurement to integration into generator or propulsion groups, onboard installation, and coordination with shipyards and shipowners. System Integration & CAD Design: • Ensured seamless integration of engines with auxiliary systems, including sensors, control panels, elastic couplings, and other essential components for reliable onboard operation. • Proficient in CAD software for machinery integration. Commissioning & Classification: • Supervised commissioning activities, prepared technical documentation and technical files, coordinated with classification societies, and ensured compliance with marine classification standards at all stages. Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT): • Oversaw and executed FAT trials in collaboration with classification societies, from dockside to onboard testing, securing full certification of engines and systems prior to client delivery. Project Monitoring: • Continuously tracked all key milestones in the engine and system integration process to guarantee successful delivery and performance. After-Sales & Technical Support: • Delivered after-sales service, technical assistance, and customer support for Mitsubishi marine engines in both power generation and propulsion applications. Technical Expertise: • Extensive hands-on experience with Mitsubishi SR series engines (S6R, S12R, S16R), covering installation, commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting. Advanced Technical Training: • Completed advanced training at Mitsubishi’s European facilities, focused on engine servicing, workshop-level disassembly, inspection, and troubleshooting of main engine components and turbochargers.
