Architected and delivered the BiolinkAgent from concept to production, a pioneering AI platform that automates the discovery and assessment of novel valorization pathways in the bio-economy. I defined the technical vision and led a cross-functional team of 8+ data scientists, bio-economy experts, and external contractors, owning the entire project lifecycle and delivering the system ahead of schedule. I owned the full MLOps lifecycle, establishing a 95% automated CI/CD pipeline (GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes on OCI) that reduced deployment times by 80% and enabled rapid, reliable iteration. 𝗔𝗣𝗜 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆: Delivered a scalable REST API (FastAPI) that serves advanced analytics and actionable intelligence. This API reduced the time-to-insight for discovering viable valorization pathways from weeks of manual research to under 1 minute, directly enabling faster, data-driven strategic decisions.

Providing high-level strategic foresight on the intersection of embedded AI, kinetic autonomy, and digital sovereignty. Serving as the technical bridge between raw engineering reality and geopolitical policy for European decision-makers. Sovereign Autonomy Strategy: Advising on the decoupling of critical defense stacks from non-sovereign supply chains. Ensuring that the "brains" of European autonomous systems remain under European control. 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: Answering the "what happens next" questions regarding fully autonomous hunter-killer systems, loitering munitions, and AI-driven electronic warfare. 𝐃𝐮𝐚𝐥-𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞: Helping policymakers navigate the grey zone where civilian robotics meet military application, ensuring regulation does not stifle innovation while maintaining security.

Selected by the European Commission as part of a distinguished group of AI experts to contribute to the development of the first General-Purpose AI Code of Practice under the AI Act. Key responsibilities in this role include: • Developing a comprehensive risk taxonomy for general-purpose AI models • Identifying and assessing systemic risks, such as conducting model evaluations and adversarial testing • Implementing cybersecurity protection for AI models and their physical infrastructure This role is part of a multi-stakeholder initiative that includes over 400 submissions from industry, academia, and civil society, aiming to build a framework for trustworthy AI.
