Lead and manage a team of advanced manufacturing engineers in developing and deploying new manufacturing processes and technologies at sites throughout North America. Oversee process design, equipment specification, tooling development, and automation strategies to support new product introduction and continuous improvement. Research advanced technologies in the areas of automation, metal forming and Plastics.  Partner closely with products design, quality, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure design-for-manufacturability (DFM) and design-for-assembly (DFA) principles are applied.  Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other data-driven methodologies to enhance productivity, quality, and cost performance.  Manage capital expenditure (CapEx) planning, budgeting, and execution for new equipment.  Mentor and develop engineering talent within the team.

-Project Leader for a $12M capital expenditure project that included an 8,000 sqft building expansion, $6M Kautex blow molding press, Two Automated weld cells and Two assembly lines. -Drive internal automation projects to help combat labor shortages and create a more efficient process flow. -Lead and direct maintenance department to improve unplanned downtime and mitigate risk of downtime due to spare part shortage to long lead times

● Developed and supported hoshin or strategic planning for operational improvements. ● Led Kaizens which ranged from complete current and future state value stream analysis with improved average delivery times of 50% and savings of over $1,100,000 ● Facilitated SMED / quick changeover events and reduced changeover time by approximately 50% ● Capitalized over $1,500,000 of improvements in Automation, visions systems and improved process flow which improved OEE by over 10% and reduced unplanned downtime with savings totaling over $3,000,000 ● Led risk assessments on robotic automated work cells to ensure cell designs meet RIA standards during planning and mitigate risk due to safety concerns over human, robot interaction. ● Professional mentoring program in areas such as 5 Levels of Leadership and Leading Change. -Develop department yearly expense budget. -Develop plant yearly capital Investment budget. -Develop department yearly KPI targets. -Develop department yearly action plan. -Corporate evaluator for engineering career progression promotions. -Prepare and present monthly reports to Corporate evaluators. -Prepare and present new model evaluations to Global Executives. -Develop and Review Personal Action Plans for Direct Reports -Coach, mentor, and provide succession training for direct reports
