Manage the Major Subcontract Team responsible for administration of the Advanced Targeting Infrared Pod (ATFLIR) Program for the F-18 through a staff of 10 professionals. Duties include the timely solicitation, negotiation and administration of fixed price and cost reimbursable subcontracts for domestic and international partners and suppliers in accordance with FAR, ITAR and internal company policies/procedures. Initial tasks focused on successful moving administrative responsibilities for ATFLIR Supply Chain Management (SCM) from Los Angeles to Dallas with an entirely new staff - primarily with outside new hires. Supported strategic SCM initiatives to help achieve the stretch goal of pulling in $22.5M in ATFLIR supplier deliveries by December '07 to help meet aggressive division sales goals. Personally serve as the Executive Sponsor for a key aerospace machining supplier located in Phoenix, AZ that was seriously delinquent at the start of my tenure. Negotiation of an accelerated Milestone Payment Schedule, weekly site visits, provision of assistance with management of second-tier casting supplier and support of a competitive second sourcing effort have helped the program meet aggressive customer delivery requirements driven by higher than anticipated war fighter requirements. Supported division-wide activities resulting in successful completion of a U.S. Government Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR). Successfully coordinated and lead an Executive Business Review with Selex Galileo operations from Basildon, England and Edinburgh, Scotland which together represent approximately 30% of total subcontract dollars.

Conceived / negotiated no-cost design, manufacturing, and distribution of 18 million commemorative DFW Pepsi-Cola cans. Negotiated exclusive advertising deal with Samsung for the provision of 850 plasma and LCD televisions (including installation, maintenance, and spares) for DFW's Grand Hyatt Hotel and new International Terminal in exchange for three-year naming rights to eight Business Centers and advertising display space. Optimized minority business participation by awarding 32% contracting dollars to these concerns in FY'06.
