My Career Experience has been in the Engineering Profession since 1985. The Engineering disciplines included Civil Design, Traffic Design and Water System Design. I have worked on projects in Civil Roadway Design (Including roadway, drainage, striping and right of way) as well as Utility Modification, Potable Water and Reclaim Water Plant Design. I also have some work experience in Construction Inspection and survey. I have extensive knowledge producing Construction plans using Autodesk Computer Aided Design (CAD) Software. I have used AutoCAD since Release 9 and currently using Civil 3D 2023. The CAD design drawings I have turned out over my career are: Site, roadway, grading, plan and profiles, traffic signals, electrical, structural, details, drainage, right of way and landscaping plans. Other AutoCAD software knowledge skills are: Autodesk ReCap, Autodesk InfraWorks, AutoCAD Plant 3D, AutoCAD Electrical Autodesk Revit and BIM. Also some Microstation experience. In my former position at Tucson Water Dept., I produced Construction Plans, Survey Data, Maps and Other Data. Samples of Work included but not limited to Well Site Design Plans, Booster Site Design Plans and Station Control Panel Electrical Plans. Other Works Assignments preformed are engineering support, permitting, project management assistance, asset management (Hydrotank Inventory Assessment), Reservoir Rehabilitation support and archive management support. I also, had been operating as an unofficial CAD manager for the last 8 years. Duties include configuring computer specifications to optimize cad software, installing and testing new releases, setting cad design guidelines, coordinate training, ordering and maintaining server base/standalone licensing of cad software, assist in training new cad techs, and analyzing efficiency in the workplace pertaining to cad design disciplines. I also was required to maintain contact with vendors, contractors, various municipal agencies, consultants and the other departments in the City of Tucson municipal. I also have stayed updated with CAD Computer Systems, Autodesk AutoCAD Software and innovations in the Civil Engineering Field.
