I obtained B. Tech. in Chemical Engineering from IGIT, Sarang, M. Tech in Material Resource Engineering from Academy of Scientific & Innovative Research (AcSIR), CSIR- IMMT, Bhubaneswar and pursuing PhD in MMME from IIT, Bhubaneswar. I am presently working as Senior Scientist at International PranaGraf Mintech Research Centre, Bhubaneswar in the area of Mineral Processing and Extractive Metallurgy. I have more than thirteen years of R&D experience in the field of Mineral Processing and Extractive Metallurgy relating to processing various low and lean grade ores and minerals, low and lean grade iron ore beneficiation, beneficiation plant optimization, reduction roasting of low and lean grade of oxide ores (iron ores/manganese ores/chromite ore), iron ore pelletisation, DRI and smelting, slurry transportation and graphite beneficiation and value addition, solid waste utilisation and plant waste recycling. I had worked in different projects like recovery of iron values from red mud, recovery of metal values from ferrochrome slag, recovery of nickel value from chromite overburden, beneficiation of low grade iron ore by column flotation, development of breakthrough process to produce high ultrapure graphene oxide and reduced graphene oxide, production of high purity flaky graphite (99.99%) from graphite ore, development of process flow sheet for beneficiation of graphite ore to maximize the yield of flaky graphite and carbon value, optimization study of chromite beneficiation plant, optimize and undertake technology development in chromite beneficiation plant operation, effect of different spiral design in trommel on the ball mill discharge, performance study of High Pressure Grinding Rolls (HPGR) for size reduction of iron ore and LD Slag etc. Apart from that I have contribution in the field of waste utilisation areas like recycling and reuse of steel plant waste, production of sand from coal overburden, manufacture of heat resistance ceramic material by geopolymerisation from fly ash, effective utilization of fly ash & pond ash in cold setting brick manufacturing, efficiently transportation of high concentration fly ash slurry through pipe line, production of biodiesel from rice bran oil and its effective separation etc. I have published more than 34 technical papers. I was selected as Quick Hire Scientist by CSIR, India to complete M. Tech degree. I am a life member of ISCA, IIME, 4MSI, IIM, IICHE professional bodies. I am honoured as the "Young Innovators Award " under the R&D category by IIME.

Currently, i am focusing to recover nickel values from chromite over burden.
