Primarily responsible for managing all aspects of a $165M (450 USA, 2,850 Mexico employees) semiconductor/electronics manufacturing organization. Planned and directed all aspects of manufacturing. This included maintaining all manufacturing systems, coordinating the layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization. Accountable for quality, cost, delivery, and safety as well as partial P&L responsibilities.

Directly managed the Mexico Assembly/Test plant for an eight months period in 1999 and nine months of 2002-03. Planned and executed organization restructuring. Implemented lean principles into all departments of the Mexico facility. Directed and administered all phases of device assembly and final test.

Promoted December 1996 to lead the Wafer Fab organization. Directed and administered all phases of semiconductor wafer production. Introduced and implemented lean principles in all phases of wafer manufacturing.

Promoted March of 1995 to manger of engineering group. Coordinated all product lines and yield management from raw material to customer. Was the customer liaison for product quality and performance requirements. Also, additional responsibility was given in June of 1996 for Wafer Fab process engineering. Coordinated all semiconductor processes, implemented process controls, improved process specifications, managed all process changes, and began the Six Sigma certification programs.

* Managing all Advanced Engineering and Manufacturing processes for an integrated hydrogen fuel source and fuel sell product startup. Have partial P&L responsibilities. * Assisted the CEO and CFO in writing the required SEC documentation for a self listing process to take the company public. * Developing and implementing a total supply chain solution including planning, identifying and allocating costs, development of service level agreements, supplier selection and contract negotiations, flow management activities, developing and documenting all manufacturing processes within the company. * Developed and implemented the company’s strategic business plan and financial planning and budget models in conjunction with the CEO of the company.

Provided consulting assistance to entrepreneurs, start-up and early stage development companies to take an idea and create a commercially viable product. Consulting assistance included developing feasibility studies, formulating business plans, systems implementation assistance and creating E2E supply networks. LongLite, LLC – New York, New York (nine month engagement) Vice President, Supply Chain Management and Manufacturing Managed and developed the product lines for a consumer electronics start-up company. Developed and implemented a total supply chain solution including planning, identifying and allocating costs, developing service level agreements, supplier selection and contract negotiations, flow management activities, developing and documenting all manufacturing processes within the company. Directed initial product ramp up to over 1 million units a week from under 50 thousand per week over a 9-week period while reducing manufacturing cost by 42%.
