Jeoung Yul Lee

Dr. Jeoung Yul Lee is Full Professor (level 2) at EMLYON Business School (Lyon, France) and Bayu Chair Professor selected by Chongqing Municipality Education Commission (Chongqing, China). Currently, he serves as Consulting Editor of the Journal of International Business Studies (JIBS) & Lead Guest Editor of JIBS Special Issue on Microfoundations of IB, as well as Associate Editor of The International Journal of Human Resource Management, Journal of Business Research, and Asian Business & Management. He has served as a lead/managing guest editor of 13 SSCI journal special issues and 1 SCIE journal special issue such as the Management International Review, Journal of Business Research, Management and Organization Review, and Management Decision among others. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the Wharton School, and he has published 72 papers in SSCI journals, such as the JIBS (2015, 2019, 2022, 2023, in press; UTD24/FT50), Journal of Management (in press; FT50), Research Policy (2025; FT50), Human Resource Management (2019, 2022; FT50), British Journal of Management, Global Strategy Journal, Long Range Planning, Management International Review, International Business Review, Journal of Business Research, Journal of International Management, International Journal of Human Resource Management, Asian Business & Management among others. Among them a majority of papers are on the ABS 3 or 4/4* list.
