As Marketing Executive I managed the marketing activity for Calor’s largest marketing sector domestic fuel as well as several other market segments. I worked with various marketing budgets to develop and implement the marketing communications plan for customer acquisition and brand awareness in line with the Corporate Strategy. I managed campaign lifecycles from development through to evaluation, along with utilising a diverse range of communication tools including direct mail, e-shots, door drop, advertising and PR on and offline. I produced a variety of marketing collateral including brochures, case studies and communicated regularly with external agencies and stakeholders to ensure campaign objectives and deadlines were met. I also liaised with internal departments to ensure campaigns complied with company values and industry regulations and provided marketing support to the sales teams across the country. I also attended many exhibitions across all the markets, organising our stand, graphics, sales teams and manning the stand during the shows, talking to customers.

My role as a Marketing Assistant in the International Office involved marketing support and administration services to the International Officers. These officers are responsible for student recruitment, promoting the university and maintaining open and efficient communication with international students. My regions were Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Brunei and the Maldives. I organised region liaison officer’s trip to these countries, exhibitions, travel arrangement, visas, accommodation and liaising with our overseas offices for events. My role also covers student programmes for all visiting students who came to the University for One year Placements from the EU and non EU countries.
