I taught for several years in Australia before moving into international education. For the past ten years I have been in a Senior Leadership role in schools utilising the PYP and IPC and British style curriculums, leading to the International Baccalaureate Diploma. I have a particular interest in developing effective teams by tapping into the particular skills of individuals and utilising them in the most effective way. Curriculum development has also been a priority of mine, along with maximising access to the curriculum for children with learning issues or those with particular abilities. My participation in Accreditation visits to schools in Turkey, Kuwait, Germany, UAE, India, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, China and Northern Iraq for CIS and NEASC have provided further depth to my understanding of how to plan for and implement school improvement.
