Conducting research evaluating the mechanism of action of ELU42, a promising phase I/IIa drug indicated for diabetic foot ulcers.

Conducted advanced, independent research focused on immunology, cell biology, oncology and fibrosis, while collaborating with principal investigators and cross-disciplinary teams to design and execute experiments, analyze data, and publish findings. Served as both a scientific contributor and mentor, supporting laboratory training, project development, and dissemination of research through conferences, publications, and stakeholder presentations.

Conducted independent and hypothesis-driven research focused on cannabinoids, material science and gastroenterology, designing and executing experiments, analyzing complex datasets, and interpreting findings to advance scientific understanding. Collaborated with faculty advisors, research teams, and cross-disciplinary partners while disseminating results through peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations. Research: Micro-encapsulation of Cannabidiol for the Enhancement of Gut Health and Modulation of Gut Microbiota using Biomass from Industrial Hemp.

Delivered undergraduate/graduate level instruction in anatomy and physiology, designing and facilitating lectures, laboratory sessions, and assessments to promote student learning and critical thinking. Applied strong oral communication and interpersonal skills to convey complex scientific concepts in an accessible manner, while mentoring and supporting students in achieving academic success.

Assisted regulatory affairs team in preparing and reviewing submission documents, ensuring compliance with FDA and international regulatory guidelines. Supported cross-functional collaboration by coordinating with clinical, research, and quality teams to gather data for regulatory filings. Gained hands-on experience in regulatory strategy, document management, and communication with internal stakeholders to support product development and approval processes.
