• Launching and managing a registered charity, striving to make a difference to as many children and families’ lives as possible by delivering toys and much needed items within hospitals, hospices, SEN schools and deprived communities • Using excellent interpersonal skills to persuade local business owners, councilors and MPs to donate items for the Sikh Toy Appeal, resulting in 11,292 gifts being delivered to families in December 2018 • Applying strong communication skills to handle generate media and celebrity exposure, including being interviewed for BBC Midlands Today, Central News, the Express and Star and the BBC Asian Network • Developing and delivering successful projects including the ‘Back to School Support Pack’, providing students in vulnerable circumstances with much needed equipment for school • Managing resourcing and recruitment for the STA Brand Ambassador programme, to ensure brand coverage across the UK, training new starters and working strategically to develop the brand nationwide

• Responsible for introducing an educational staffing portal into schools across the West Midlands as a solution to saving money on supply • Recruited Head Teachers, Teachers, Cover Supervisors and Teaching Assistants, using strong communication skills to liaise effectively, network in school related settings and to find suitable placements • Worked closely with schools to encourage the purchase of Ednex’s subscription recruitment service, designed to reduce supply costs and save school budgets

• Provided a full 360 service, working on European and UK based roles, ranging from secretarial roles to executive level in a range of sectors including IT, sales and administration

• Founded a limited company specialising in recruitment, working with a range of companies including Empire Cinema, Phones 4 U and Jessop’s to fill management roles, saving clients’ money on traditional agency fees • Achieved challenging monthly targets in a highly pressurized environment, bringing on board at least 10 hires per month and working on typically a 3:1 ratio when delivering outstanding candidates to clients • Responsible for all financial management of the business and supervision of remote working staff • Jan 2010 to 03/2016 – Interpreter – Consultancy basis through Pulse Career Ltd Swiis, Pearl Linguistics, The Big Word & Languageline working as a Interpreter in Punjabi & Urdu. • Average of 25-30 hours per week covering assignments across Walsall, Darlaston, Wednesbury, Willenhall, Wolverhampton and Birmingham city centre. Assignments ranging from hospitals, Doctors surgeries, working within mental health, vulnerable children, social services, women’s refuges & domestic violence units. • Highlight of career in interpreting working on an assignment full-time for 6 months with the National Criminal Agency where we had to report to Theresa May our progress once a week.
