Sales Representative
Tempe12
Tempe, Arizona
I was a sales representative for California University Berkeley and Indiana University in Bloomington. I sold advertising slots for a local student discount card that was attached to the front of the Tempe12 Student body calendar. We produced 2 calendars that year. One for the Pac-10 and one for the Big-10. Each calendar featured one female student representative for their school. Experienced Gained: - Cold call sales experience. I called hundreds of local businesses in Berkeley, Ca and Bloomington, In - Local Marketing analysis. I had to analyze businesses around each campus to determine the best fitting businesses for our marketing campaign. - Management. I had to manage client expectations and student representatives of each campus. - Event Organization. Each campus had a launch party that had to be organized and marketed to the student body.

Barista
Arizona State University Bookstore
Barista Extrordinaire. I worked in the ASU Bookstore on Campus. I worked from 5:30am to 11:30am. Experience Gained: - Customer Service. The customer is always right. If the customer did not like there coffee or drink, we would make it the way they liked, no questions asked. - Punctuality. I worked the morning shift and had to be on time at 5:30am or face repercussions - Time Management. Working at Starbucks is very fast paced. People want to purchase their drink and be on there way. As a Barista, you have to work fast and efficiently to serve people in a timely manner. We had time goals and certain processes in place to make everything run smoothly.
