Researched the effect of climatic variations in concrete structures. Used MATLAB image processing and COMSOL finite element modelling to determine different rates of corrosion at key areas in concrete structures. Used non-destructive testing equipment to collate data and build into COMSOL model, therefore predicting the future rate of corrosion in a structure.
