About
Healthcare facilities are among the most complex built assets in the world. The systems are dense, the regulatory environment is demanding, and the operators who run them need accurate, structured building data from day one. Most of the time, they don't get it. I lead the Healthcare Practice at Zero, where we help health systems carry structured, actionable building data from construction into operations. Before a facility opens, we work with owners, GCs, and design teams to define what data matters, where it lives, and how it performs once the ribbon is cut. My background is technical. I came up through BIM-FM, spent years helping large healthcare and higher ed owners define digital twin use cases, and led the digital building operations practice and the Voyager platform at VIATechnik. That foundation shapes how I approach every engagement: data first, use case driven, owner-side. I chair the Digital Twin Integration Committee at the National Institute of Building Sciences. The committee's work centers on accelerating the adoption and integration of digital twin technology across the built environment. I also volunteer with ASHE and serve on the ASHE Advisory Board, where the intersection of healthcare operations and facility data strategy is a standing priority. Closeout isn't the end. It's the beginning of a building's operational performance. If you work on the owner side of healthcare construction, facilities management, or building data strategy, I'm always open to a direct conversation.
