About

I have extensive experience in field based research science and with processing samples collected in the field into pertinent data for a research project. I have also gained some experience with scientific writing. I was published as a co-author on a paper published as the first official record of an exotic ambrosia beetle to the sate of Georgia. To complement my field experience, I have a great deal of laboratory experience including: microscope work, species identification, and type specimen preparation. My education and experience have fostered a strong passion to pursue research science and my immediate career goals are to complete a masters research project and then a doctorate research project. Specialties: Field data collection, orienteering, arc GIS mapping, data organization using Excel, plant and animal species identification
