What I love about being a chemist? Literally everything! But one of my favorite aspects is the continuous challenge that makes you always move forward in order to find the solution. The excitement of solving the problems and going beyond the limits reminds me about the right choice of the profession. For pursuing career growth, after graduation I have spent the last several years working in the industry, gaining expertise in various modern analytical techniques. Later on, my interests shifted in the direction of biochemistry, medicinal chemistry, and drug discovery. The hard work on the project devoted to the research in the field of protein study by electrochemical and optical methods at the University of Strasbourg resulted in the PhD degree and best thesis of 2022 award from Jean-Marie Lehn fondution. Currently, I am interested in the environmental application of chemistry - I am working on the design of the efficient and cost-effective catalysts for hydrogen production via water electrolysis. In addition to scientific skills, the PhD experience made me well-versed in planning, project managing, and negotiations.
