DevOps & cloud Engineer Intern May 2024 - August 2024 As a DevOps intern, I gained hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure for a microservices architecture using AWS, Terraform, Ansible, and other key AWS services. My responsibilities included: Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Leveraged Terraform to design and implement scalable and secure infrastructure on AWS, including ECS, VPC, CloudMap, MSQ, CloudWatch, EC2 instances, load balancers, and databases. Automation: Utilized Ansible to automate deployment and configuration management of microservices, ensuring efficient software installation, system configurations, and user management. Microservices Management: Managed containerized microservices on AWS ECS, overseeing deployment, scaling, and monitoring tasks and services to ensure high availability. CI/CD Pipeline Creation: Built CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for automating infrastructure provisioning and microservices deployment, ensuring seamless integration and delivery. Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Worked with CloudWatch and other monitoring tools to ensure real-time monitoring of production environments, identifying and resolving issues swiftly. This internship allowed me to work on a real-world project and collaborate closely with experienced DevOps engineers, honing my skills in cloud infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD processes.
