I worked as a cake decorator, where I was responsible for preparing and decorating a variety of desserts, cakes, and pastries. In addition to refining the workflow and enhancing production efficiency, a significant aspect of my role involved training new staff. This became especially crucial after the patisserie opened a new outlet, as we were tasked with supplying its goods without any expansion in kitchen size or production capacity.

At RHC I worked at 2 key locations- 8 Bishopsgate and London Events. 8 Bishopsgate is a 50 storey building situated in the heart of London. The work is divided into four main areas: the ground-floor café, the cafeteria on level 26, private events on level 50, and on-floor catering for corporate clients. My duties included assisting with the mise en place for all these segments. I was later moved to the London Events team which focused on bespoke events catering and tastings. Tastings are designed to give clients a preview of the menu offered when they hire RHC for an event. I assisted in the mise en place for both, tastings and events, as well as creating new recipes in accordance with the clients' specifications.
