About
I am a thermal engineer at Maxar Space Systems. My main focus is in developing thermal models of spacecraft and their subsystems to provide accurate temperature predictions and correlations. This consists of using Thermal Desktop and supporting tools I have developed in SINDA, Fortran, and Python to provide accurate temperatures to aid in thermal design. This thermal design is then validated through thermal vacuum testing, where I am able to supervise and control the system or satellite to gain a better understanding of how the system will respond thermally to changes. I plan to transition into a more design focused role once I have built up a better understanding of the nuance of spacecraft thermal control, so that I can help in the next big push to bring humanity back to the stars.
