- A Chartered Accountant registered with SAICA and ICAEW, with international experience at KPMG at Partner/ Director level. - Currently MD at Booker-Tate - Sugar and Agribusiness Consultants - More than 30 years financial, project management and business development experience in both developed and emerging markets in UK, Southern, East and West Africa. - Specialised consultant to Southern and West African sugar industries, managing financial, commercial, marketing and logistics for in the global sugar trade. - Led the development of one of the largest Agro Allied groups in West Africa with a combination of acquisitions and greenfield developments in Sugar and other crop value chains, - Part of the executive team managing one of Africa’s largest listed Food Groups, comprising top branded products in wheat/maize/sorghum flour, pasta, noodles, rice, sugar, edible oils/spreads, cereals and snacks; and the supporting port operations, logistics fleets and packaging plants. - Managing Director responsible for the bottom line of the largest Sugar production, Cassava milling, Feed milling, Edible Oil refining and Fertiliser blending production facilities in West Africa; supported by agricultural operations covering over 60,000ha in sugar cane, palm, cassava, maize, soybean and rice. - An energetic professional team leader with a proven track record in ethical and sustainable business development in Africa.
