I currently serve as Executive Vice President of Legal, Tax, People, and Compliance at MBRF, a global powerhouse in the food industry and one of the world’s largest producers and exporters of poultry and pork. With more than 130.000 employees, operations in over 140 countries, and iconic brands like Sadia, Perdigão, Bassi, Banvit, and Qualy, MBRF plays a strategic role in feeding the world with quality, safety, and innovation.In this multifaceted executive role, I manage critical legal and regulatory matters in Brazil, lead tax planning and compliance across domestic and international operations, and drive strategic people management initiatives across the company. I also contribute directly to MBRF’s governance and ethics agenda through leadership in the compliance function. My work at MBRF is centered on creating strategic alignment between legal, tax, people, and compliance and ensuring the company remains agile, responsible, and forward-thinking in an increasingly complex global environment. I am deeply involved in the design of executive compensation, leadership development, and talent retention strategies, while also driving efficiency and governance across legal and tax operations.Prior to joining MBRF, I spent 18 years at Marfrig, a leading multinational in the protein sector, where I held the role of Vice President for Legal, Tax, and Human Resources. There, I led the legal structuring for the company’s IPO and orchestrated numerous cross-border M&A transactions, while also shaping HR strategy and overseeing comprehensive tax planning.
